Now meeting Wednesday nights, 7pm at The Resting Place on Wilson St. in Perth

Positive Realities in Single Motherhood is a ministry for single mothers. In the church's "On the Way Side" Newsletter for March 2010 Krystyna Jacques writes,

"It has been nine months since Prism was launched. Christine Papillia has come along side me to assist in this ministry which has been greatly appreciated and valued. She has much to offer this ministry and she has stepped in when I have been unable to be present at meetings.

We have had two women from the community participating regularly. One of those participants has found our church to be instrumental in assisting her to walk closer to the Lord and she is supported by our church body.

There will be a change in the schedule of Prism come April as we are changing the time from a morning group to an evening group in order to be available for working single mothers to have access to Prism. We will be advertising in the EMC at the end of March for this new group. Our location will be changing from the United Church here in Perth to the Resting Place on Wilson St., Perth. We are very excited about this new location and teaming up with them as our ministry has been on their hearts since last summer and they have been waiting to see how they could offer support in this much needed ministry.

Prism is still very much Holy Spirit opperated and lead. Please continue to pray for this ministry and the single mothers in the community who find themselves alone and struggling emotionally, financially and spiritually. We want to share with them the Father's love that is full, never ending, all knowing, and always there for them. There is a way to opperate as a single mother daily in His arms finding strength, peace and joy. Release from the bondage of the past will ensure the Father's love reaches the children of single moms. Thank you again for those who have supported Prism financially and through prayers."
