New Song Young Adults
Oh sing unto the Lord a new song for He has done marvelous things! Ps 98:1
Mike and Suzanne O'Shea are currently
hosting a young adults aged group whose focus is on creativity and worship. Our vision is to worship God with creative excellence and use the arts
to bless the church, encouraging believers to worship the Lord in the
beauty of holiness. We believe God intended the arts to be used to soften hearts and inspire us to praise and worship, which in turn, is spiritual warfare!
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:"Praise the LORD,for His mercy endures forever.” 2 Chronicles 20:21
This group consists of artists, musicians, dancers, actors, photographers, videographers... we all would like to explore how, with the Lord's direction, we can use our areas of interest and talent to create together "a worship experience" presentation that we could give to our church. The idea is that as we meet together, we can grow closer in fellowship and enjoy the
learning process with one another. We're planning on doing a presentation which will be roughly 30 - 45 minutes in duration and will take place on an evening sometime towards the end of August. Stay tuned for more details.
Our next two meetings will be held at 1:30PM at the church on July 11th and July 25th. If you wish to be in the August presentation, please come to these practices. Thanks!
